Just curious as to what JDM Parts (Official Honda OE parts from Japan) people are looking for. I am having a sit down, with a Honda rep to inquire about some parts and wanted to see what everyone was looking for.

kyeguy82, are you serious? If you are, then you guys should have the parts department supply japanese parts. It's like how superior nissan and performance nissan does it. They supply JDM OEM parts and aftermarket parts at their dealership.

Yes, I am definitely serious. After about three months of intense research and questioning, I finally tracked someone down at Honda of America. I can't exactly say who he is or what he does there, but if you're familiar with American Honda, they make no exceptions. You either buy American Honda parts, or you're on your own. Our Infiniti store orders their JDM parts on a daily stock order just like any other part. So in that sense its really easy for Nissan and Infiniti dealerships to have access to their JDM catalogue. But for American Honda, we are not priveledged enough to have access to our JDM bretheren. I have the sitdown with the guy this Monday, so wish me luck!

I'd just make up a list of everything PW JDM and JDMLand and whatnot sells, and get them sold at a dealership without a middleman charging me an *** and a half for shipping.

I have a feeling that if you try to offer any 'rarer' parts there would be a backlash because all the guys that tried really hard to get them would end up with a slap in the face

 

One thing that would be different is that the parts would all be new. Brown-boxed with the official red Honda labeling.

our dealer can get jdm parts ... hell we got 99-00 sir headlights in stock...
