What's the best tachometer to get with a shift light for our Rs?
Thinking Auto Meter, but which one? Any other ideal on a good tach with shiftlight?

i just hooked an autometer shift light to my stock tach. no need for a 2nd one. why dont u go that route instead? cheaper

i just hooked an autometer shift light to my stock tach. no need for a 2nd one. why dont u go that route instead? cheaper

3 wires connected to the shift light, red for power and black for a ground. splice the 3rd wire(cant remember what color) into the blue wire in the harness located under the hood close to the master cylinder. pop a shift pill into the light and done! i would scam a pic, but my scanner just crapped out on me!! dammit!

What does the defi 60mm tach with the small shift lite run price wise VS the small Auto meter shift lite with the tach box compare.

well i dont know about the other one buy i know the auto meter goes for $64.95 plus $24.95 for a set of pills + $7 (i think thats what it is cant remember EXACT #) For a handling charge from summit.
from me you get light, + 2 SETS of pills for $65 3 -day priority

That shift lite is to big. I much rather have the defi 60mm tach with the small shift lite or the small Auto meter shift lite with the tach box. What are the price difference between the two?

call summit i think they sell defi items.
actually i dont know if youd be intirested in this type of light, and i dont know the exact name but theres a light that i once saw on here that has multiple leds, like 5 in a row.its very small,goes right on top of your steering column. from what i remember it actually plugs into your lighter.
ANYONE care to jump that knows more info on that light? myself i have hondata now so i actaully have 2 shift lights, the check engine light plus the led hondata gives you, no need for the autometer anymore...
