Default fixing the abs modulator?

Has anyone ever fixed the abs modulator? I checked my abs light and got
code 1, which means the abs motor isn't working.

I figured I could buy one from a wrecking yard for a 100 bucks, but then it
will just brake again. Is there any good fix for this?

good yet expensive is goto your local honda dealership and get a new OEM part.

Deppending on the price of a new one, the junk yard parts may not be a bad deal. although personally on something as important as stopping, i would get new OEM parts, or atleast new. just my 2 cents

if you are certain that it is leaking from a seal, you can buy the seals and re seal the unit........just a thought if you are a good mechanic

no its not leaking, and the dealer wants like 1,200 and the part stores want like 700 and
the junk yards want like a 100-200 bucks

Yeah that thread has a guy that read the service bulletin about the accumulator 'O' ring and then acted as if he figured it out by himself.

For this posters situation I'd jumper power straight to the ABS pump 2 pin connector and be sure the pump is non-functional.
I know without a doubt if the pump won't run, buying all the seals in the world won't help the problem.
