Default TOKICO illum. help

EDIT:

the front in on jack stands... getting the front in is a slow deal.... had to make a set of spring compressors that would work

is the back supose to sit that high? it almost seems higher than when i had the stock on ... by like an inch

i have the correct springs the sports lowered 1.9 front 1.8 rear ( i checked the part numbers)

question: what is the the part number listed actually on the spring itself? maybe they are all parted by the same number on the spring itself and i got the stock replacements instead of the sports

it is possible that you got them backwards. smaller looking one with the most coils are fronts, and the ones with less coils spread a lil farther apart are the rears. just making sure.

with the illimunias and h&r lowering springs...u should have plenty of threads to start it...if someone just pushes real hard on it...when i installed my sportlines on tokico..i just push down and started a few threads..make sure its not reversed like others have said

if not there a different spring compressors that u can use...if the one that they loan can't fit...there are others where its a bigger compressor that some shops have...

another question...

i got the nut on and tightened it down on the struts... but i can't compress it at all... while i put all my weight on it and it does nothing...

is this normall...

i mean the springs and struts are all together and tried to put my weight on them and they didn't budge (after putting them onthe softest setting... )

is that normall lol

It's possible that you have the wrong springs entirely, you should have NO problems with what your doing. I have installed more of these than I can count and the springs you have just should not be as hard to press as your explaining?? check and make sure you have EF civic springs
