confused and wary
my 1991 Honda Civic DX hatchback is biting the dust pretty heavy lately. it's sluggish and reves high in all gears, especially 1-3. I know it'll probably be either the clutch or flywheel (just had a tune up and inspection this fall). I don't want to get ripped off, so wondering exactly what parts I'd need to get the performance it once had (nothing super heavy!). it's front wheel, does that mean more work cause of the transaxle? does it still work with a clutch plate, fly wheel, bearings and bellhousing? BTW...the doors are badly dented, anyone know where I can get two DX hatchback doors in upstate ny near Rochester? I'll drive to get em if I have to, my mechanic says he can't get them...*jerk* (also told me he doesn't do glasspac mufflers or oversized exhausts, and I KNOW he does!)
please help...I used to work on my own cars, well, till I moved to the city and lost all my tools and my back yard...

almost guarenteed...I've been seeing clutch kits for less than 200$...don't know exactly what I need though. If I had a list of parts, I could get them myself and save some money at the mechanics...
would really like to sell it though, use the money to help get a newer car...
