I have a 2000 gs-r with 35,000 miles and only (i,h,e) act clutch, apexi vtec controller.. i have saved up tons of money and want to build a super fast machine out of this.. I am guessing all-motor but i dont even know where to start,, toda b's, turbo, nos?

ok imagine you had my car and you had a say $10,000 budget.. build me something very fast!!! thanks guy and ill show everone picks and buy stuff based on what you all say, this will be like the boards project let me know

ok somebody posted this a while ago.......just use yoru block not an LS

Block

-STR intake manifold $700
-Bored throttle body $150
-Fuel rail $65
-990cc Injectors $350
Turbo
-SFP Race manifold - $500
-Garrett 60-1, thick shaft, p-trim, .70 a/r $750
-Tial 45mm Wastegate $350
-Miami Muffler custom DP, TP, 3" mandrel bent exhaust to an Apexi N1 muffler $650
-Spearco Air-to-water intercooler, resovoir, water pump, water cooler, hoses etc $500
-Custom Intercooler piping $50 (it's short remember!)

That's a total of $11,510 on the motor and getting it running perfectly an reliably. That leaves you $500 to get a nice clutch. When you get some cash buy a flywheel and quaiffe.

its will probably be somewhere in the are of 10 grad considering u have some of thew stuff on there, like a block and the head so thats minus 900 bucks or so

and probably 500 hp wiht good tuning

why would he need a blockguard if he is sleeving??? makes no sense, and the s2 manifold is only around $300-$350 at most places

If you want straight-line speed for cheap, why not just get an older gen DSM GSX, GS-T? Sure they aren't attractive and unreliable, but it's cheap. Then with the left over money spend the rest of the money on the Teg to whoop *** in either Auto-X/Track.
