Default TURBO KIT QUESTION

I have a question, If it says Direct Bolt-On that means that I dont have to removet he a/c right? I am unsure and Need some awnsers I'm just curious as to if anyone knows if these kits require the removal of your a/c.

I have a 1995 Integra with a B18c1 Type R in it. If that helps

the only ones it says that you have to are the early civics/CRX and the DA's so if you don't have those you will be fine

Look into a Peakboost kit. They are around the same price.

Wow, how many people have spazzed about about the b18c1 thing already,
he's probably not some blockcode *****, and really knows everything .. just a thought

And to add a little extra to the OP, searching would be good too,
with the kits you posted in the first post, you might need to know a little more about turbos.

he seems to be concerned about keeping his a/c.. if so the Drag or Rev Hard kits might be better for his needs. i mean some people gotta have their a/c.. i definitely understand that!

Thanks for yalls answers, as far as the B18C1 thats just my code, it has more 5hp and 5 more torque than the regular B18C, and to what blacksheep said yes i am concerned with my A/C cause here in Florida it gets hot and I use to have a car with NO A/C so I gotta have it, and as far as the kit that im gettings its going to be the rev hard kit, 2650 shipped, and me and my friend are installing it ourselves, so hopefully everything works out and I'll be the fourth turbocharged teg in panama city

If I were you I would ditch the FMU and get real engine management. I know some people have success with the FMU, but I wouldn't risk it...take a look in some of the archived FI threads about them.

That is true, if he were looking for more power though Peakboost would be a pretty good alternative. They also do have A/C manifolds
Good luck with whatever you decide on.
