I've got some 15x6.5 Spoon wheels. +42mm offset.
I'm going to be installing some Spoon calipers.
My question is, what size spacer should I use on STOCK Type R studs? The tire shop has two options: 1/4" = 6.35mm; 5/16" = 7.9mm All I'm going to need is 5mm to clear the caliper. However, I think I'd prefer the stance with the 7.9mm spacer. Is this going to cause a safety issue? Am I going to have enough stud length to go with the wider offset?
Thanks

You REALLY think you could ever tell the difference in looks from one and a half extra millimeters?

Make sure you have at least six full turns on the lug nuts (and seven is even better); if not, get longer studs.

Haha...Didn't really think about it. Brain fart!
I was only thinking numbers, not the visual difference.

supposedly 5mm will make it so that youre lugs are only tightened on by a couple threads...honestly for safety's sake get extended studzors lol
