Default short shifter answers needed

Ok, which dual or single-bend short shifters are a reduction in height from stock, and which of these are quality products? It's so hard to tell about height reduction from the ads online. Thanks!

TWM Performance was by far the best shifter I ever installed in my Integra.

Lowered **** height 3" and reduced throw distace my 55%.

+1. I personally don't have one in my teg (dc one...its great until I messed with a TWM) but my next shifter will be a fastline or TWM and definitely DEFINITELY buy some stabilizer bushings

Thanks for the advice. So you have the TWM stage 2 shifter. I am having an Exedy stage 1 clutch and Exedy flywheel installed on my car. Is it just a matter of preference as far as which stage TWM shifter to buy, or is one of the shifters better mated to a stage 1 clutch and 9.5 lb flywheel upgrade?

Do not buy B&M. Mine rattles like crazy. Also, get ES bushings.

Ok, thanks. I think you gave me some other good advice a few months ago. Do you have any plans to go with another shifter any time soon?

better mated? None realy...its different alltogether...as far as actual mechanics go. I just want the shorte HEIGHT shifter...a common misnomer is that short shifters are just shorter "sticks". They actually change the axis angle therefore make the THROW shorter...

I drove a GSR with a skunk2 dual bend..I didnt really like it,but personal preference

I've got a cheap Check Point s/s dual bend w/ e/s bushings. Short in height & throw. The only reason I didn't get a TWM is it's more straight than the d/b which moves it forward a inch & a half or so. I don't like leaning forward to grab the stick. I already have the drivers seat all the way back.

I've got the B&M short throw shifter on my integra. It squeaks a bit in between shifts, and has an annoying rattle crusing at higher RPM's. Other then that, it gets the job done.
