Black emblems??? Anyone do this before?

Black emblems??? Anyone do this before?
Hey guys,
I've seen a few luxury cars (lexus, etc.) with flat black emblems. I thought they looked pretty cool, and I was wondering if anyone's done this to their car.

take your chrome emblems and spray paint them flat black....its a very nice touch, well, i guess it depends on your car color. I would not do it on a dark colored car.

i'm about to do it to my 
and Civic emblems off my Si 
do we have to sand the emblems down first ?
or just straight up spray it ?

Thank God you gave them a heads up about your tailight or else the flame is coming fast.. 
BTW, I just painted my H emblem with Semi gloss black and it really matched well with my red hatch..
