Default Euro r manifold

I was looking into a Euro r manifold. My question is how do I work using an IACV ? Also is it worth sending it along with my stock TB away to maxbore, also what size to get the TB bored to ? And with the euro r its still sits the same way on the head where a Hondata gasket would fit correct right ?

no.

search the archives, the information is there.

to tell you the truth. Everyone is just going to give you opinions on what size TB to go with, so why not do some research and decide for yourself what size would be best to go with?

blacktrax.net makes an IACV adaptor plate.

You will likely have to port match the gasket.

you DO NOT have to use your iac valve. simply mount/secure it underneath the manifold and plug in the connector so the ecu sees its there. thats it.

its very simple and has been done countless times w/o any problems. i have done 6 of them this way myself all on different cars including preludes and civics using stock p13 ecu's and p28s w/ hondata. either way the ecu looks for it, thats why you have to still have to plug it in. but you do not need it, and you will not have any idle problems w/o it

you don't need it but it is very nice to have it. the car will be able to control its idle alot better.

I thought you had to have your IACV hooked up to pass smog?

this is not true. like i said its been done plenty of times. every one that i have done the idle stays steady wherever you set it (750 rpm).

if they notice the IACV is missing, they'll notice that the Euro-r isn't stock.

Well is it worth sending out the euro r to maxbore for $65 more (not too bad imo) ? Or will it not really benefit me at all ?

that doesn't sound bad at all. what size can they make it too? portmatch the intake too?

don't forget you'll need to block the fast idle port on the t.b. to get it to seal up.
