Default stock exhaust with custom piping

If you had 2.25" piping from the cat and brought it down to meet the oem pipe of a stock axle back dual tip exhaust exhaust, like the si exhaust, would it be a bad set up? Loud? and would u not lose as much power?

it will sound slightly louder and may rasp since you're loosing the resonator.

but why do this anyway? 2.25" into that tiny stock piping

Good old mustangs camming.....brings back memories lol, what I meant as dumps is a piece place at the exhaust end that points the exhaust fumes down that is what we call it here, might mean something different

Turn down?

Dumps is when the exhaust is ended before the car, often is turned down.

Yeah that's what i meant as well..it has a "stock" 460 from a 92 f250,shorty headers,no cat,2.5" h-pipe,flowtech mufflers right before the axle with turndowns on them aka "dumped" ,,,it sounds rediculously heavy shakes everything around it!

just if you get a muffler get something low-key that almost looks stock, cause those cali police are looking to pull over import cars so dont give them a reason with some chrome N1 muffler...

Yeah we swapped it for him with a 5spd tranny, converted it to carb with a holley 600cfm,fuel pump and regulator,(holleys are not easy to tune)....He actually wanted a 351w but we couldnt fine one and there was a redneck selling his f250 with a 460 for only $600 so why not? HP not to high but the Tq will kill you..we left the internals stock because he said its to fast already for him,,mother has 11" tires on the back and still cant make it up the hill in the rain
