Hey guys I have a fully built Ls/vtec with 9:0:1 compression, the only I need is a turbo kit for it. I checked the full race turbo kit and the peakboost turbos and they're excellent however the price is a little too high...What do you guys think about the turbonetics turbo kit going for $1800.00? I want to make at least 450 hp can that be possible with this kit? what about the manifold..is it good quality?

 

if you want high quality, youre gonna need to pay a little bit more.
I'm not sure if its capable of 450, but I know the full race and peakboost are...
If you can squeeze a bit more money, I'd definitely get the quality kit over the turbonetics... Not saying its bad, just not as good as the other two you listed.
Make sure you get a good tune

 

thanks, I called cheapturbos.com today and i gotta price for $2999.00 on a Garrett GT40R, it produces 500 hp..i just want to make sure I get the best deal possible.

I don't think that kit comes with a GT40R for 3g's. I'm pretty sure that's the price for the kit with a regular t3/t04e garrett turbo. But anyway's that's an excellent, all I see/hear are good things about it.
