Ok i just bought a set of Skunk stage 1 cams. My head has almost 130k on it right now. I have anyother h22 head that i was planning on building later for another car. The head only has about 20k on it and looks great. I want to use the newer head itself on the newer motor but im not using that valvetrain anyway. So anyway would i be worth it to swap out the newer valvetrain from the head with 1/10 the milage on it and put it into the head with the skunk stage 1 cams ?

 

Have you thought of inspecting the older head to see what shape it's in? Helms manual will have all the things to check for.
