hi i was just wondering what kinds of rims you guys would recccomend for a 1992 VX.

i want to get a pair of HX's but does anyone know if they will fit.

 

The HX's will fit. They're essentially the same as the VX wheel, just in a 14".

 

Yep, HX's will fit just fine.

14x5.5 @ 11.8lb's.

thats what i want. i have the stock VX's on mine i like mine great, im plan to paint/polish them.

 

where can i find a set of hx's? ive looked on craigslist and websites..just havent found any. Also do the vx rims look tooo small on a hatchback? i really want to paint them black with a polished lip on a red vx. thanks! if anyone has pics that would help alot

 

HX's are hard to find -- people want them because they're so light, and personally, I think they look cool. Really cool for a stock rim.

Hell, I'd put VXs on my hatch if it was allowed in Stock class (gotta run a 14"), I'd rather have the shorter tire for autocross. I don't think the VX rims look too small, but I never was one for the giant blang blang wagon wheel craze, ymmv.
