Rear wiper removal-Where to buy the plug for it??
I want to remove my rear wiper and plug up the hole. I remember reading about posts before, where you can buy a plug that will be perfect for it. I'm up here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Anything local would be VERY cool!
Also, wondering has anyone had problems with water leaking in and stuff? It rains alot up here so i'm wondering. Also, once you get the plug in, is it easy to take out? I park outside and would hate for someone to be able to take it out when it's raining!!!
Post up please!
Thanks

go to your honda dealer. the plug is the same for a civic dx hatch i believe. you need a plug and the screw for the other side. so no it is not easy to take out from outside the car.
You only need two parts, no need for the gromet. Just the plug and washer.
Honda rips you off with the plug though, they want 25 bucks for that thing!

So, I can get these parts from any Honda? Would you happen to know the part numbers and stuff?

I'd keep it. What happens when you need to see out the back??? The first R's didn't have one and people who were daily driving them wanted one.
It may look cool but some OEM stuff is there for a good reason.

I just want it off, and plus summer is coming up soon so I won't really need it!
Just thinking about it...

Also, is it safe to assume that the same parts will also work on a 2g teg?

I have it. all i use was the washer and the plug. As for what i do when its raining, I use rainX once in awhile(carwash) on the rear and it works pretty well for me.

Do any of you know how much that motor weighs? If its only like 5 pounds, I would rather not cuz it snows alot in Michigan.
On that site he said it frees up 5hp.. I figure he was being sarcastic. And about freeing up a switch, what can you do with it when the switch in on the control stick behind the steering wheel?
