ok so i just bought a 90 DA and was thinking about do some minor mods to it aka rice
for right now untill i can afford a turbo kit i was just thinking about doing
full 2.5" exhaust
headers
CAI
msd ignition
flywheel
and clutch

im just wondering about how much a differance i will notice or if its even worth doing all this without turboing it as well because i really dont want everyone and there grandma to be calling me and my car a slow peice of shity rice.

Welcome brother. Just keep in mind that since your a virgin here in the world of H-T that pretty much anything you need to ask, has been asked before. With that being said, get used to using the search feature as it's an increadible tool that can yield great information easily. This feature is located at the upper right corner of your screen.

Ask yourself this question: If you are intent on boosting your car, is it necessary to waste the money on the exhaust, exhaust manifold and cold air intake since you will have to replace all of it with the turbo parts? Something to think about.

 

your car doesn't have to be rice, just don't do the ricer mods....Big stickers, giant wing, altezza's with no performance mods. The DA tegs are fun to drive right off the show room floor, you can have a lot of fun before you turbo it.
If your gonna turbo wthin a year, I wouldn't get the exhaust parts though, work on suspension. DAs look really good lowered! Whatever mods you make let them lead up to your turbo that way you don't have to undo stuff and waste money.

Don't worry about the rice comments...that little car is an over-achiever!!

 

alright thanks for the input i think im gonna hold up on the exhaust mabey just do like a high flow cat and mabey cat-back, still gonna get a cai just because its cheap and mabey some more little stuff then work on suspension while i save up for a turbo
