Default Velocity Trends new shop car.......

Our old shop car was totaled back in October 06 just getting off the dyno and on a test drive. It put down 603HP w/ 408 Torque on 25psi conservatively. We were pushing for 35psi but ran out of fuel at 25psi. Needed a bigger pump and injectors. The set-up is here.... (RHD K20-T)

https://honda-tech.com/gara...=4831

The new car is a 95 Civic Si. It will have the exact same set-up as before but with a few more upgrades inthe suspension, fuel system and eventually we will upgrade the GT35 were rocking with something a bit better and bigger.

Here are some pics of the car as we just began to put it together last month.

Getting prep'ed for paint........

just coming out of the paint shop......sorry about the quality of the pics.

Next comes the entire build up from suspension to drive train, and body panel and reinforcement, tuning and track times and et's. ENJOY!

Thanks, good observation I'll have to ask about that. I have legal belts just incase they are needed.

We'll start putting the motor in the car this weekend so more pics to come.

Just curious, but have you used Tein suspension on a drag car before? We tried it a long time ago on one of our SFWD cars, and that **** didn't work too well. Even had the retarded EDFC on it!

Here ia an update and a few pics of the car we are finishing up. We cannot wait to get done! We originally hit 603WHP/408T @25psi on the same motor and set-up. We since upgraded the fuel pump and up the size of the injectors to 1600cc. We stopped at 25psi due to lack of fuel support so on this car we updated the fuel system, added the cage, and beefed up the suspension. All this was added from the previous cars set-up.
