how much does powder coating cost?
yo phi...there's a place like 10 minutes or something like that away from us...ill let you know for sure...but my boy got them done from someplace around here...ill find out for us because i need to powdercoat some rims too man...it might cost like a hundred...but you have to dismount the tires before you bring it to them!

It would actually be cheaper and a little easier just to rattle can them. The powdercoating is kinda thick and when it chips, it's pretty noticeable. Spray paint, on the other hand is easy to re-touch, and if you want to paint them a different color again, all you have to do is tape up your tires and paint away. There are special paints for painting rims too. All you have to do is scuff the rims with a scotchbright pad and clean them with laquer thinner after you scuff them. Works great and lasts as long as powdercoating without the cost. Just my .02 worth. BTW, I got my rims powdercoated and I'm wishing now I had just spray painted them.
if your heading toward spray cans, Then use Duplicolor wheel paint. I used this to paint a set of 95 gsr rims and it came out pretty good
