Default Hood Problem: Wont Open

I tried doing a little searching through the archives and all I could really find was everyone calling the OP a theif. So that obviously wasnt much help.

But anyways its a '93 LS. I need to get my hood open because I havent changed the oil in 8k miles and also now the brake light is on and I need to check the fluids. Im thinking the cable got disconnected at the front because the lever no longer works. I tried reaching up through the engine bay but I coudlnt get my hand up their and plus I couldnt see anyways. Tried a screwdriver through the hood but again no luck. Didnt remove the grill and try but it seems like the radiator might be in the way but maybe thats next to try.

Any help?

Got it open and for any future threads of people trying to get it open. Its so easy. Just remove the turn signals and take out the 4 12mm bolts that hold the front bumper on. Its that simple.

Thus why I posted it. Cause idiots in this forum wont answer other peoples simple questions. So now I just answered it for anyone else.

If I theif needs to go search forums to figure out how to do ****. They really need to practice their theiving skills.

I was going to tell you to do exactly this. My brother bought a CRX a few months ago and 2 or 3 days after he got it home the cable snapped and I had to change it out for him, that is exactly how I got it open, and believe it or not, I asked in the CRX/EF forum and got answers right away.

STFU, thieves (most anyway) know what they are doing and don't have a problem with this, and it's not hard to search a little bit and figure out how to do this anyway. More than likely this guy ins't a thief and honestly needed help. If you don't have anything good to say then keep your damn mouth shut.
Personally if I was a thief, I wouldn't take the time to remove the bumper lights, take out the other bolts, remove the front bumper, and then pop the hood. When I can just break the window and hit the hood latch, so much faster.

OP, glad you got it taken care of, and change the oil man
