Default A6 rebuild

i have a 91 si hatch and it needs atleast a re-ring kit but since it's gonna be apart i was thinking i might as well save up some scrilla and do internals while i'm at it, but i don't really know what would be best i eventually want to supercharge it. what would be benificial and won't have to be changed later for charger? I also don't have enough knowledge to do it my self what is average pricing for a rebuild?

I rebuilt my A6 for around $300-400. That included new main/rod bearing & trust bearings, piston rings, all gasket's/seals, hone (purchased) and rtv gasket maker. The haynes manual will be your guide. make sure to measure everything percisely as it is very important in determining what size bearing's, etc that you need. Good luck
