Does anyone know the exact tools needed to replace a battery in a 2002 Accord LX?

to add to Bruce Banner it is 10mm wrench. Assuming you didn't replace the clamp on it. Remember not to leave metal touching the 2 post. =P

If you try to take it out and something is holding the battery in place, you'll know.

you need either an 8mm wrench, or a deep socket to loosen the battery tie down, and a 10mm wrench or socket to disconnect the terminals. However, if the terminals were changed, 99% of the aftermarket terminals are either 13mm or 1/2inch.

As for how to remove the battery, start by loosening the tie down untill you can rotate it free from the battery tray and set it aside. remove the terminals and clean them. Reverse install for the new battery.
