ok, i recently purchased a jdm fog switch. it worked for a couple of hours, then it just shut off, no green light, wont turn on the fogs. nothing. this happened to me before, so i thought it was just the switch, maybe its my wiring. i basically used the wires that came with the fogs i bought and since those worked with the ORIGINAL switch, i thought it would work with the jdm. Do you think i maybe messed up the switch by doing that? HELP PLEASE. can you also help me try to wire it through a relay? i dont understand all those 85s, 87s, etc. Please explain it throughly like which wires (colors) etc.

 

well the problem is you didnt use a relay the stock switch cannot handle the power going through it. it has burned out and is useless! the switch was only meant to trigger the relay and not take the full power to the lights. You should have done a little more research now your out a $25 ebay JDM switch

 

how come it turns on when i squeeze the sides of the switch?
