generally, on the engine block, transmission, chassis on the left under the windshield... but im sure there are more

are the vins viewable for the engine and tranny without removing them>?

Yes, VIN plate on tranny near block code. Then another VIN plate at the bottom of the block right before the oil pan.

There are other VIN stickers on body parts like fenders, bumpers, doors, trunk/hatch.

chances are unless you are under the car you wont see it, theres so much in the way, especially if you have A/C still, and theres usually dirt all over it as well

If the fenders haven't been replaced, there will be VIN stickers there too.
