What is the differcne betweent the two trannies?

90-91 LS trans YS1 long gear....LS trans small spline long geared trans
92-93 LS trans YS1 long gear....LS trans large spline long geared trans
92-93 GSR trans YS1 short gear....GSR trans large spline short geared trans w/ the ability to use hydro trans internals.
large spline = same spline size as hyro trans

simple but effective. if you're looking for gear ratios, I don't have them lol.
