before/after clear coat question
I just bought a car that does not have a clearcoat. The car's paint is in decent condition, few scratches and dings here and there. I am going to clear it, but until I can get the dough to do it, how should I protect it? Can I wax it, and if I do, will it affect the ability for clear to stick to it? Any thoughts on what you think I should do? Clear, don't clear, wax don't wax?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Don't do anything to it. If yu wax it then it will be a mother trying to get it off so you can clear.
I would just keep it clean, and clean it with Ajax when you are ready to clear, that will remove all grease and dirt.

No, it will remove any wax. You DO NOT want wax on the body of the car, or the paint/clear will not stick. I ude it all the time before I paint.
I think you can get it with out bleach, and it's in a green can.
