fast civic huh? why do you wish to acquire the largest throttlebody possible? please, do a mpfi swap, then go from there.

this function will help more than a cavernous throttlebody. Search MPFI SWAP.

MPFI Swap!!!

DPFI is gay and for homos only! I used to have one. A bigger throttle body for your DPFI will not do much if anything at all. That system is a throttle body fuel injection system and is made for fuel economy. NOT POWER!

Go MPFI, worth it all the way.

nope, wont work.

your best bet is to take out the restrictive internals of the dpfi TB, and maybe seeing if maxbore can bore it out a little for you.

take the 4 screws off of the top of your dpfi manifold/intake.

you'll see a screen in there and a little L shaped metal piece.

ive actually seen people take off the complete dpfi plastic stuff off, and mount an intake pipe directly to the throttle body.

it looks pretty cool when they do the intake like that.

That's how the 7th gen intakes are. The manifolds are similar to the dpfi in our cars. So if you can get a hold of an intake for cheap from a 01-05 civic then you've got an intake.
I would go with taking out the restrictions and possibly boring out the throttle body. I doubt there is any throttle body that would bolt on to the dpfi's manifold.

Too bad you didn't get an si and run it in your stock class, then you'd have the 1.6L (d16a6) and the mpfi... you'd be a bit quicker. Oh well. Good luck
