EVAP Charcoal canister
I keep getting an EVAP code (1257 I think) and a mechanic told me its a bad canister, relay or solenoid. He checked, no leaks and charged $200 to come up with that answer. Where can I get one for my 99 accord 4 cyl.? Is it easy to find and replace?
The cheapest source would be a low-milage wreck from a salvage yard. No, those parts are not really difficult to replace, but you might want to get a service manual first (eBay?).

it's next the to firewall under abunch of part(unlike integra), it's around that price for a new one.
the number one reason people damage the canister is by over filling their gas tank, the canister get soaked by the extra fuel and it's not designed to filter out anything but gas(as gas vapor, not gasoline/liquid
)

On this note I keep getting code 1457. It started after I came back from vacation and my car had sat for about a week, this was a while ago and it still shows up every now and then after driving for a little bit but not always. Says evap canister?
