Default BseriesKllr's Project: 4 Doh's fo mo Ho's lol

The Project

91 civic 4dr. dx with d16y7 swap.

The Goal

Turbo it and keep it stock looking as possible

ok i bought this car about a year and a half ago right when i got it i put in si hatch seats, egay coilovers and knockoff mugen rnr's also threw in a cd player. here she was.

polished the pant and came out pretty nice

then i blew the stock d15b2 shortly after the mpfi swap and picked up a D16y7 with 40k miles for 200 bones.

This car had really put me through hell and i thought i was done with it when i picked up a crx for $500 but i ended up wanting to keep the 4 door and turned around and sold the crx for $900 and got rid of my wheels i also got rid of the egay coilovers worst ride ever btw and picked up some tein basics from a member off here so much better

and well here is the car as it sits now

'dont mind my ghetto intake my other one kept grounding out on my battery

slurpee ftw

dirty inside

This is my turtle who keeps me company and reminds me my car only runs a blistering 16.1@84 not to bad for what it is but not fast at all.

Here are the parts i have laying around for my setup so far
EK radiator

arp headstuds

all new upper control arms, tie rod ends, inner tie rods, and ball joints

parts on the way:
all four motor mount inserts
slim fan
hondata intake gasket
new oem headgsket
single guage pod

i get paid today and get my tax money today so i will be ordering a bunch of parts this week, stay tuned! im gonna try and keep all the updates on this page cause i ahte project threads that you have to go through like 50 pages to see the end result

UPDATE 2/8/07

got my motor mount inserts, hopefully more stuff shows up today

UPDATE 2/13/07

well i installed 3 of the 4 motor mount inserts, wow big difference car feels alot more solid now, im waiting to install the passenger side tranny mount until i get my clutch, a few other parts showed up and i ordered a bunch.

Parts i ordered:
57 trim t3/t4 ebay one
38mm wastegate also a knockoff
all my mandrel bends for charge piping and downpipe
12 t bolt clamps
6 silicone couplers
stealthmode oil line kit
ebay intercooler 6.5 inches tall
dsm 450cc blue tops
y8 oil pan, mine is dented
D16 blurr manifold, decided to try this out because a friend of mine has one on his bseries and braced the turbo and its been holding fine. its basically the one-fab knock off.

thats all i can think of now, i still need clutch will be getting a clutch net, guages(oil pressure, boost, water temp.) ecu basemapped and a fuel pump.

here are some pics

insert installed cant really see the others

plastic intake gasket

stuff waiting to be put on plus my dog

slim fan

thats all for now ill update with some pics when the goodies come.

UPDATE 2/14/07

i got the ac compressor and lines out but still need to get the condeser and reciever/dryer out, couldnt do it cause had to pick the girlfriend up from the hair place because she wrecker her car

BEFORE

AFTER

Samuel L Jackson "It'll get ya drunk!"

My brother works for a Coors Light distributor, so I HAVE to drink it sometimes.

Good luck on the sedan man, and 16.1 on a y7 sedan is not bad at all.
