Default CRX Roll Cage Suggestions

Anyone have suggestions for a cost effective 88-91 CRX roll cage that meets NASA specs?

Welcome to honda-tech!

you will find the search button to be your friend.

in the meantime:

http://www.autopowerindustries.com/

You will also find there are many benefits with having a custom cage built, such as more head and arm room, nascar door bars, looks nicer, arguably safer, looks cooler, etc. But as with anything more features more cost.

There are plenty of racers around here that can recommend shops around so-cal.

Autopower is barebones legal but it will get you going

depends what cpst effective is, you should neevr put a price cap on your safety if you need a cage properly built to NASA specs where you get your money's worth and then some call Louie of L-con Racecars at 714-366-1711

Yeah... you've met him the "350Z" guy up at buttonwillow

one day we were looking at cars online,
and a few days later, he told me he got a CRX

if all goes well, it might even make it to California Speedway next month.

http://www.kirkracing.com

They make great cages, and are really great people. I had a Kirk Racing cage in my older Civic, they were always 100% customer service, and the cage looked great and fit great!

Hey that's bitchen. And new CRX body panels are a lot cheaper that 350Z parts

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Thawley

PS: Jeremy, this is a new guy who did one or two HPDEs with us last year. Much too nice a guy to jump in with you H4 rif-raff right away...

Hahaha. Yes..the 350Z guy. Just got back from Willow this evening. Had a great weekend in the Z. Bought a cheap CRX in need of some serious TLC but hope to have it ready for HPDE use in a couple months. I'll be taking the Z up to California Speedway so I'll see you guys up there.

By the way, picked up a new fender for the CRX for $80. Much cheaper than Z parts!

I'll get there eventually. I'll be building the car slowly (yeah I know it's more expensive that way) and plan to learn with it through the HPDE ranks first. After the "incident" at Buttonwillow, much rather take things a little slower.
