okay so i have the full-race traction bars on my car now. the car is still sitting with no engine in it. i am doing research on which radiator i am going to use.. i was looking at the pictures on full-race.com of their radiator that goes with the traction bars.. the piece looks like ****.. why would you post pictures of your custom radiator with shitty fitment.. they have zip ties holding some pad where the radiator hits the car.. that doesnt seem like good fabrication..
to the design on that...
my question is to people with this traction bar what did you do for a radiator?? im not interested in some ghetto rigging so if thats what you did i dont need a answer from you..

Define ghetto-rigging? Are you past relocating the mount brackets at the top if necessary, or possibly refabricating the bottom supports?

ghetto rigging like zip ties and such holding it in.. fabricating something to work is doable..
What holds on your aftermarket fan then?
Ok, I'm busting your ***** at this point but no good project should be devoid of zip ties for mock-ups. Well figure out what radiator you want to use, and then compare the measurements to one that is known to fit (Full-Race), then adjust the bottom as necessary.
<-- Thinks what he just said didn't make that much sense.

Well if you have Don Helping you out you might as well invent something new impressive. Well just for the record my slim fan is held on by zip ties so I guess yours is just balla like that.
here is what i did... but its on my race car... It actualy sits higher then my oilpan so i dont mind so much.. its an EK radiator that sits in front of the traction bar kinda at an angle... the radiator cap is flush with the hood latch.. its about 7 inches off the ground when my 13" bogarts are on... and my slim radiator fan it is held on by zip ties they slide through the slots in the radiator.. you can see some of the zip ties on the radiator

i guess i am a "balla" as you say.. or maybe im just not too cheap to buy some bolts.. or the proper mounting pieces.. i just choose to do things right..
my engine is no slouch so i figured i would treat the car the same.. its def. not a race car but everything will be done properly.. maybe ill be able to get near the 11's... i guess we will see in due time.. it looks like it will be a nice piece though...

well the radiator itself+fan like you see was bought from Jermey Allen/Brian Fishers car... its a olimpic auto 96 automatic radiator... i just figured if it was good enough for him (fastest all motor comp 4 car 10.89 at 124mph) i think my car can handle it...
what your talking about though my friend has a Fluidin or however you spell it.. it came with a bracket on the backside that when using the same fan there small like 5mm bolts that hold the fan on... ill try to get him to take some pictures

I run a fluidyne for a 90-93 integra in mine. I drilled two holes in the traction bars for the mounting of the radiator and used foam padding between the two for rubbing. and it fits like stock

those pictures just illustrate what the radiator looks like in the car....they are just example pics of a customers car...not installation instructions. the radiator is positioned on the two bungs on the traction bar and fastened to the chassis via the stock passenger side radiator bracket.

I'm running Full Race traction bars with a Koyo radiator. The radiator is huge and still fits no problem. I'm even still able to use my top mounting tabs to hold it in place. I'm running AC but have no room for a turbo. Doesn't matter..... LHT-SC'd FTMFW!!!
