I was bord and saw that old thread cjackson posted of the rose he made so i figured id whip one up for my gf and suprise her .

I like how you thought to do something creative and new that something oringinal and old.( which is not bad)

by the way i did im having my dash cutup to accomodate the cage!!! after that im going to test all my connections and put it on a frinds car! im trying to get the wiring harness from a stock dash and wire it up to the racepack that way i can test it out in a friends car!

Good work on the rose though, how long did it take you?

 

Took me about 3 hours with me stoping here and there

 

I made those for a while and sold them. Made about 25 total. If i can find a picture of mine ill post one up. I got it down pretty good too only took about 30 minutes to put a rose together considering if all the materials were already cut.

I made a rose once...with fluxcore. It didn't turn out quite how I envisioned, it looked like a bird shat all over it. My girl still liked it though.

this flower is just a good idea this year as it was last year if you didnt make one last year...

mine where stainless, I never painted one.

Used plasma cutter

22 gauge stainless 4x8 sheet

1/8th stainless rod

tiny wire wheel

Mothers mag polish

tiny buffer pad

needle nose

and pliers

and volia

I wont tell you how I made the templates though

I never realized how girly my hands where until I made about 2 of these and ripped all the skin off my hands the first night.

however after making them, me and some friends went to a go-kart track and drove go-karts for a couple hours, and he was complaining about his hands being rubbed raw, and I was just like what the heck are you talking about wuss.

I buy my girl stuff and i dont have any problems. You only run into an issue when the girls were spoiled as children. And plus its too cold outside to make anything, so i just bought her a purse.

 

This time of the year makes me glad I dont have a GF anymore. I made a rose too, it turned out great- I gave it to my mom

damn yours is really bad ***.... you should paint one in that candy red color. got any more pics?
