a little bit of white smoke is coming out of my hatch.
I just bought me a 93 civic vx for cheap cuz the guy told me it had some problems well i bought it like 150 miles away from where i live at and it drove fine but i noticed a little bit white smoke comes out of the muffler i heard it could be a blown gasket or a piston ring but im not a mechanic would any of you dudes have an idea what it can be get at me dawgs.
it didnt overheat i need to do a complete tune up on it though cuz the spark plug wires are all chewed what do you mean by milkshake oil?
If the headgasket is blown, The coolant leaks into oil and turns into a milkshake.Check your oil to see if its a blown headgasket.
Go do a tuneup after that, im sure its not a blown headgasket

could be a bad muffler with junkin it. same thing happened to me. my muffler was all rusted with hella nasty *** **** in it. drove it for a week and it went away. if that aint the problem then check to see if your head gasket aint crack.

Headgasket. Sounds like you are getting water in a cylinder due to a blown head gasket. Also check to see if you have water dripping from your tailpipe.
good looking out everybody im gonna see whats up with my coolant and check the map sensor cuz the c ar runs fine just throws smoke thanks good deeds lates.

true indeed...
pull your dipstick out and check how your oil looks...if it looks chocolatemilk, than is your headgasket..

yea..condensation, but it should oonly happen when the motor is warming up...if the motor throws white smoke at all time....and his headgasket is still good...then i really dont know what else might be it...maybe someone else might be able to help him...when my D series was throwing white smoke, my oil looked like chocolate milk and it was a blown headgasket causing water to mix in with the oil..

How white is the smoke were talking about. Because my car smokes like a 70 percent transparent whtie smoke all day long. Its currently 30 degree's and the car is fully warmed up, My oil is fine, Coolant is ok even thugh it tends to smell like coolant inside my car with the heater on( heater core is perfect, no water inside),, water does tend to drip out my muffler tip though. I dont know what to think of it , ID hate wasting my time (take a day off work a nd school) to mess with a headgasket tat is probably perfect condition ( 50,000 miles).
Sorry if this is a thread jack, it might be related to your situation though

well...when my car had a blown headgasket, my car would leave HUGE, MASSIVE clouds of white smoke....i would drive my car and the whole street would be full of white smoke....think about when hot-boxing a car while parked and opening the windows as you leave...something like that but 100 times worse...thats how bad it was with my car..
other than a blown headgasket, i really cant think of what else might cause it...i'll be reading this to see if it isnt a headgasket and to see if anyone can give other suggestions on what can cause it...GL
