Default Is it safe to use a clay bar to remove overspray from plastic trim?

^^ What is the best way to remove overspray from plastics? I just got my OEM CTR wing today, and theres a litttttlllle tiny bit or primer overspray on the black base. Whats the best way to remove it? Will the clay bar haze the plastic?

if it's unpainted try claybar make sure sure the plastic and clay are both soaked with water and clean...

if that doesnt work i accidentally found that brakleen takes paint off plastic as long as you dont use too much (it could possibly warp)...used it when my taillights got spraypainted by some idiots

i paint at a bodyshop, so im not just some expletive guessing

Ill try the clay bar after work tomorrow Im just worried about it hazing the plastic, but its probably not going to happen. Its really no big deal, as the actual wing part covers it mostly, but im an **** bastard

Thanks for the responses

do NOT use thinner, it will fade the color, youll be able to see every smear where you had thinner on it
