Default Is it time for a new o2 sensor?

On startup, my 97 integ ls-t idles all funny, and goes to like 1700 and drops, and goes back up and stuff until the car is atleast 1/4 way warm, i dont really know what else it could be, besides the o2 or head gasket, but I checked all other symptoms of head gasket and i'm almost positive thats not it. I already changed the plugs and wires, so I know thats not it either. Any ideas guys? The car doesnt throw any codes because its switched to obd1 ecu and chipped with crome. And the code for the o2 is turned off so theres no lights on either.

this happened to me also because i had a 97 ls, using obd1 harness to obd1 ecu with crome.

my tuner told me that the obd1 ecu did not control the evap so just unplug the sensor.

solution solved.

give that a try, its on top of your intake manifold.
