how many speakers does a 98 prelude sh have? some people say they have 6 but theres really only 4?!!

 

If it has tweeters in the dash, those are your other 2 speakers.

 

Mine only has 4

 

there are actually 6.

4 front speakers from a "component" set: Consisting of a midbase driver (5.25 i believe) that is on the lower portion of the door and a tweeter (1in? 3/4in?) that is near the door handle.

2 rear speakers 6x9

 

wow. i feel like an idiot. i just looked, and yes, there are 6. i don't know how i've never noticed the one by the door locks.

 

lol my driverside tweeter is buzzin, but I think it may be loose. Has anyone actually replaced them with aftermarket tweeters?

 

alot of people do that...all you gotta do is pop the cover off and wire the new one in..then pop the cover back on.
