Default VW guys I gotta question for you...

Is the sphere shaped reservoir for your power steering? Im thinking about making one work for my radiator overflow. Its just something that I've never seen done before on a honda and I like the shape...kinda like a boob. Also are these only on the newer volkswagens? Thanks

Its a coolant reservoir, on most vw's after 1989. That one is quite a bit newer since it tells you to use G12 coolant. (older ones are G11)
