I just bought one and plan to put it on this weekend I'll let you know.

Good god! $285 for a short shifter is a little nuts IMO. I am paying about $280 CDN for a Neuspeed short shifter, which should arrive next week, and even that is a little high. Best US price I saw for one was $200.

What's the difference between the Neuspeed and C's? I know that B&M rattles, and I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole. The Neuspeed one comes with the bushings and all that jazz. What makes C's better (I have heard it is, but I don't know why). I mean a shifter isn't exactly a huge mechanical part.
