91 hatch w/d16z6, got a question????
I have a 91 hatch that I put a d16z6 into. I don't really want to put much money into this thing but I want a peppy daily driver. I bought a set of ZC pistons and rods for 60 bux to put in it to raise the compression, I am gonna put them in a couple weeks from now, but I was wondering if anyone has done this, I have heard good things, honda tuning had an article on a z6 that they put zc pistons in and with I/H/E pushed the same amount of power as a b16, and actually ended up having a couple more lbs. of torque... Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any more input on this. Thanks.
theres no way you'll have the same power as a b16 by just putting in zc pistons...
They obviously did some headwork in the d16 they modified and probably had a chipped ecu with a custom burn.
