I had 7.5", 225/40 with the same offset at one point and didn't have any issues. Had a two finger gap between the wheel well and tire.

sometimes i wish i wouldnt have gotten polished. Soley because the wait is killing me. Polished is a special order and it takes 60-90 days. Got a call from Machiii early this month telling me that I would have them at the end of feb or early march. I'm hoping for the former

yeah i was gunna order polished or sports bronze slips, but i saw boosts avail in 16's now. i went to order 16x7 in gold but wait there on back order for 2 months. so they offered me 16x7.5 in hyper black for a good deal. the .9" more tread width pretty much has me sold plus the fact its only 450 shipped. I can always change the color later if i wanted, but i cant add .5" of rim lol.

measure where the hub sits in relation to the center of the wheel.

205/50 isn't wide enough. You'd be stretching that tire a good bit to fit on 8"

x2

Look at the picture above. That's a 225/45/16 on a 16x8 and it looks a bit stretched.
