Default Wierd Drum Brake Issue

I have a 90 crx dx with drum brakes in the rear, and the other day i noticed that if I pulled the emergency brake to park the car overnight, the next morning i would have no brake fluid in the reservoir. I looked around for a leak and saw that all the fluid was sitting right under my left rear tire. So I took the drum apart and figured out that it was the wheel cylinder seals so i repalced all the seals and now no more leak.....but also no more brakes . I bled them like 4 times and my pedal goes 80% to the floor before it kicks in. Is there any trick to getting a firm pedal again? I have never done drum brakes before so i hope i did it right. Thanks

you might have to bleed all four wheels.
also i think you hare supposed to put it in reverse and stop suddenly. they are self adjusting and thats how they set.

your shoes have a starwheel adjuster, you just have to adjust the shoes out until the drums just starts to drag against them when you spin it and back it off a few clicks...you should have a better pedal after that.

oh that adjustment...i did that without being told, i looked at it and it made sense so i did it while i had everything off. the brakes themselves are good...as in they work...but only after applying a firm foot. the funny thing is it looks pretty obvious to me that the previous owner just had these brakes done cause the shoes have 'plenty' of meat left. its crazy someone didnt recognize the leak then and replace the seals. i don't know much about drum brakes but while you got em off you might as well go the whole way right? well at least this ain't my daily rex so i have a ride tomorrow. Thanks for the responses
