Quick Question on Painting
My car just had a full paintjob last summer. Unfortunately I understeered into a tree last night, and now want to repaint the car again. My question is, because just had extensive body work/painting 6 months ago, could i just scuff the whole car with scotch brite pads and then applying primer on top of that instead of stripping the paint off?
Heres some pics of the damage

But when you the car repaired....
you would paint the fender, the bumper and blend to your left fender, hood, and right door.
No need to repaint entire car!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yea I know, but I think this is the perfect opportunity for me to repaint the entire car in either matte black or maybe matte red. I was planning on doing this anyway so this seems to be the perfect time
