I already did a search on this topic, but can anyone tell me if I have to do anything else besides taking the gas cap off before changing my fuel filter? This is my first time doing it and I don't own a Helms manual.

i take off the gas cap, the fuel pump fuse (under dash, 15 ACG), and then i crank the motor a couple of times. they'll still be a little gas spillage so have a rag handy when you loosen the bolts.

 

make sure you replace the crush washers on top.

 

The new fuel filter should come with new ones...
