I was wanting to know If there are anyone making these kits? I need to buy the complete kit but cant find any place selling a complete kit. Here is a list of what I need.

Price the materials... 10 alum. -10 weld on bungs, 2 steel -10 weld on bungs, 3 filters, 10 straight -10 hose ends, 2 90 deg. hose ends, 12' of SS hose, over 1sqft. of .125" sheet alum, 1.375" alum. tube, and 2 oem honda oil passage plugs. There's not much labor in that price at all...

It's a great feeling to build something nice and then people knock it off and sell it for less I know how full race feels...

Trust Me I wasnt knocking Tony1's work. I kn ow he does a good job and expect's to be paid for his Work. I just cant afford the price. Im in the middle of my build and tring to make sure I can fit everything in my Budget.

Pm me if you have a set up that is a Little cheeper.

 

Tony1 catch can set up is bad ***, 600 is not bad I spent about 300 on supplies only and mine is not aluminum and I dont have the 2 extra lines on the VC.

Filters, $60
Weld on bungs, $90
Hose ends, ~$200
SS hose, ~$100
Alum. material, $30-40

That only leaves 2 hours labor to build the box, build the mounts for the box, weld the fittings on the valve cover, and weld and drill the block plugs. I'd love to see how someone is making the same thing with stainless lines for any cheaper.

Hey tony just and idea for you once you get your box pan break start using that to make them instead its alot faster to just bend the sheet then it is to weld all them indivdual ones together. Thats how I did one I just made just make sure you use 5052 grade aluminum

Also how do you get your welds so damn clean lol

Tony, i made a guy a race-gas cell for his nitrous kit, that fits under the hood of his LS1, and it was in the same ball park of that but man thier faces hit the roof when see how much it costs, and i had probably 10 hours in the making of it.

maybe SS-Autochrome will start doing custom work soon!!

 

I got my brake and i've been doing some modifying on it to safely bend .125" alum, but it'll only allow 4" of depth for a box. Might start making them a little longer and shorter. These are the early models, lol, things only get better with time...

 

ive been building some Fuel cell for sand rail guys...they dont mind paying screw honda's

 

The average honda guy is not willing to pay for good quality work, but there are enough people who know the value of good work and will pay for it. Another part of the problem is people charging for quality work and delivering **** work. I see that way too often!

 

Well I will See you Wednesday for sure. Then I will pay for some good quality work!!!!

 

Are these T1 made cans baffled at all?Or is it not needed because of the volume of the can or the number of lines coming off the engine?
BTW The quality of work on these is well worth what he charges for labor.IMO

wow those are really nice.......i would defiantly run one of those if it weren't for the fact it vents right into the HVAC inlet duct........its bad enough i can smell the exhaust/oil/crap from under the hood and other cars through the vents.
