Default My Welding Cart.

I made this a little while ago. My work was throwing out some old shopping carts so I took the basket off of the only one with a straight bottom and to it home with me. I needed a cart for my little welder so bad it wasn't even funny.

I came up with this.

Its super simple with just a few small pieces of angle. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it when I get my gas.

Picture of the weld in the center. Fluxcore nastiness.

The finished product with my beast of a fluxcore welder and craptastic helmet.

It gets the job done for something I have less than $10 invested.

Resourcefull indeed, but does it turn left/right only, or does one of the wheels "chatter" when you push it around?

Haha. No no chatter like a cart at the store. When I was looking at the 5 or 6 at the dumpster I rolled them all around and picked the one that rolled smooth.

my welding cart is made out of a shopping cart too. i "borrowed" one from a dollar store. you know the ones with the little carts. mines alittle different though it still has the handle to push it around and the kids seat holds the bottle (strap and all). i'll have to get some pics of it.

Nice. I like how you were able to keep the handle. Mine came off with the basket.
