Thinking of build a ls/vtec motor in the near future. I know you can use the gsr bearings with b16 rods, as long as you retang the rods backwards. But can you use the gsr rod bearings with the ls rods retanged , and no issues with the crank? I would think thath normal stock ls bearings would not beable to handle the extra power, and higher reving.

Why would you think that? Many high hp lsvtecs use stock ls bearings.
The secret is what sort of clearances do you want to run. Some run stock ls clearances while others run vtec clearances.
