Interior/Exterior Thermometer
I was wondering if anyone has installed a thermometer in their 4th gen preludes. Something that will just measure the outside temperature like many of the newer cars these days.
I've been looking at the sleeper guages thread and thought it would be cool to somehow get an aftermarket thermometer installed behind the dash glass there. I've searched around and tried to find something that would work, but haven't had much luck.
It's hard to find a thermometer with a sending unit that has a display that will illuminate like the clock.

If you get the JDM Digital Climate Control Unit it has an exterior temperature sensor and inside sensor. So that could be an idea for you, but it would require a bit more work.. and... a bit more on the price tag...
Good idea, I didnt know it had an exterior sensor. I would love to get the jdm climate control, but It's hard to find all the pieces/sensors for it. I've seen them on ebay a few times, but they get real pricey.
I just wanted to do this as a novelty item because I was inspired by the sleeper gauge thread and I dont really need any other gauges as I'm not boosted and don't really plan on racing.
I found an ambient air temperature sensor and gauge that might work... but it's pretty expensive.. http://www.dakotadigital.com/i...5.htm
