Default CD Player

Posting this here because audio/security people failed.

Anyway my battery died on me yesturday. Today I bought a new one and installed it. After I turned on the car I noticed that the stock CD player said CODE. Is there a universial code for the Integra or is there a specific code for each car. I figured the code would be in the owners manual, but when I bought the car it didnt come with an owners manual

Any help you can give me would be great. TIA.

I had the same problem with my mom's accord when I had to change her battery too. but then my dad had a little card from honda in his wallet with a five digit code on it, when I punched it in...the stereo worked so I am assuming that acura's would be the same way. before I found the code I was gonna haveto go to the dealership to get it fixed. I know this doesn't really solve your problem but I'm sure the dealership could help you out...good luck

Call up acura and they should be able to help you. Unless you have your manual still. Most people put the cards or write the number in there (check the radio pages)

Hey, I had this problem. I'm gonna tell you what you can do. You have to take out your cd deck and get the serial number then call Acura. They might ask you a few info like car vin # and stuff. They'll check it up and give you the code.

i had that problem too the batter died on my teg the day after I got it and i tried to call the guy back who I bought it from but he might as well of been dead because I never heard from him. I call acura and all they wanted was my Vin # wich is a little crazy because all someone stealing it would have to do is write down your vin and then they can use your "unusable' radio.
