How much should I be paying for a replacement of my B-pipe?
Well. This sucks.
I just bought my first used car and I have to replace the B-Pipe of the exhaust.
Turns out the entire pipe was completely rusted out, and my mechanic didn't catch it when I had him look it over before I bought the car.
It is a 1994 LS 4-door.
How much should it cost to get this pipe replaced, including install?

Post a WTB in the Classifieds fourm almost everyone still has their factory one, I'd bet you can get one super cheap and it's nothing you can't do yourself. You'll end up spending about 40 bucks if you have one shipped to you, or about 20 if you find one local.
If you go to the factory parts counter I'm sure it will be at least a hundred bucks for the pipe and an hour or more labor, so $200 plus...

Well, just called a few places.
Cut-rate Muffler - $180
Acura Dealership - $300
Ouch. That kills a 17 year olds budget doesn't it?
I'm taking it to a Firestone mechanic tomorrow to see what he says.
