hard *** decision cuz i know exactly what i would do to both front ends

 

my car is a 98 and in 99 i converted to the 99 front but went beck to the old front last year

 

^ HAHAHA omfg ur avatar. and unless u have a ctr lip for the 96 front it wont look as good as the 00. imo.

 

99-00 have a aggressive look than the 96-98. but i still love the 98. looks clean and simple.

 

i would love to have a white 98 front end with sir headlights, sir bumper with the moulding, ctr grill, and a real spoon lip.

...but at the same time you cannot beat how unbeliveably clean and hot a black 2000 si front end looks

 

i personally like the 96-98 front end better i dont know why people convert the front end .

96-98 with a CTR lip &gt; 99-00

 

depends on a lot of other things... color of the car/supporting mods(lip/headlights/grill) I dont think certain colors look right in the 96-98. White looks beautiful though. Also I think it makes a shitload of difference to have NEW headlights, as most of the 96-98 cars have shitty faded out yellow headlights by now.

 

I am currently building a 98 hatch.. and im twisted rather or not to do the conversion.. after seeing this thread looks like im stayin 98 !!

 

Very hard decision because I have owned both and like both of them. To each his own.

 

i've had em both and i prefer the 96-98 frontend. went from a 96 hatch converted to 99-00 frontend then got a 99 si coupe and now back to a 98 sedan. i think stock the 96-98 is ugly as hell but once u get the square fog lights and front lip, it cleans up real nice.

 

i've been debating whether to go 99-00 but i can't find a decent milano red front, so i'll probably just keep the 96 and add a type r lip with some ctr style headlights.

 

i'm probably alone on this but i like hatches with 96-98 and coupes/sedans with 99-00. i think they all should have came like that from the factory.

well i have a 00 front but always like the look of a 98 better. looks more clean esp. with the CTR lip.
heres my car. a little different now. new bumper, stock wheels, si grill.
